My braces still go on with progress: 15 - 22 months adjustment
Wow I have officially been in braces for over 100 weeks! Time just flies and I hope it flies even more quickly!
Sorry for not updated my blog for this couple months, Life was so much amazing and I was busy with a lot of things last time.
So I had my adjustment and we are now in the final tweaking stages. My ortho is now trying to make sure my teeth are evened out. I asked him how much longer I have in my braces and he said, "Well after we get your teeth evened out that should be it but I make sure like 6 months, you will be release." Kind of a general answer and he didn't give me a time frame, but at this point I'm just hoping I get them off by this year??! That would be great!
And something I was kinda disappointed at that time, The ortho said that my teeth can't be move to front and he said that if I really want to move my upper teeth to front, I must sacrifice my lower teeth by extract 2 teeth because it needed a space to move. And of course I didn't want, because I needed to spend like 2 years again to adjusted them. I was quite disappointed because he didn't tell me at first. He said that my teeth will not really effected even though I moved them to front because the teeth had already look in normal shape. And yeah my teeth really look more normal now and it doesn't really matter for me anymore. I describe my teeth like a normal conclusion (upper teeth slightly in front of lower teeth)
SO guys if you really want to have braces, make sure you have a good consultation with your ortho.
